The Practice : Lighten up

Hot Tip : The best time to do this is when you face challenge, that feel unsurmountable.

A practice that will help you Transform and forgive the contraction of Grief or Difficulty.

- Sit Quietly in a silent space with no disturbance
- Close your eyes
- Take a moment to now relax your body
- Contemplate the event that is causing you grief or difficulty
- Feel the physical Echo / response to that event inside your Heart
- You might feel a contraction there
- Tell you Heart ( or your womb, or belly for a man ) or any part of your body where the contraction feels the strongest
- "Yes, I understand, we are experiencing pain right now, We are contracted, But now I am here and I am inviting us to both feel this so we can heal the contraction together."

Now inhale GENTLY, Slowly, and fill your the 'wings of your heart'
( your lungs ) with warm breath.............Wait for a moment, as you keep this breath inside of your body + heart.

Very Slowly, and gently, exhale, and let go of this inner tension together, work with the area of your body like it is your own child, facilitate the release kindly, compassionately, let go of this tension together.

Feel it now dissolving away in your exhale, and releasing from the body, little by little, repeat this process 5 times, 5 Inhales,
5 connections to the body and 5 exhales

Now as you inhale slowly again, feel yourself take in light and place that light, inside of your heart and chest. hold the breath effortlessly inside and keep your body relaxed and calm. You are now the trojen horse overwriting and re coding this contraction with higher energy, relaxation and calm.

Now feel as though this light is spreading through out your entire body, the light of forgiveness. Forgiveness for this experience hurting you and causing you pain. We must enter this process wholeheartedly, forgiveness is necessary to remove this emotional scar / wound / contraction.

Now gently and very slowly let go of the breath, exhale slowly, feel the light going out and taking with it, the dark cloud + contraction of the pain.

When you are done your 5 cycles, sit quietly for another 5 minutes, breathing in softly, slowly, naturally. As these 5 Minutes pass you will gradually feel more spaciousness inside, more peace.

This is a sign you are now able to let go of the person or event that caused this contraction.

It is important to do this as a regular practice in order to overwrite the wound completely, the first time you do this you may get one hour relief and return to a contraction state, or a day, the second time you may get 2 hours or 2 days and so forth. The longer we practice this the better the result.

I have used this practice for years, on and off for rewriting and dissolving scars that didn't seem to want to budge, we also have to be mindful that we can be so used to clutching onto wounds we arrive at a point we feel safer scared and don't want to feel peace. This is when practitioner guidance may serve you.
